I'm a self-taught artist. Born in 1955 in Maywood, Illinois, I took to art as soon as I was able to hold a crayon. Throughout my childhood, I developed an appreciation for my art around my surroundings. I would often sit enjoying the outdoors for hours with pencil and pad, or sit watching pets, cartoons on tv, and comic books, copying my favorite cartoon characters with pad, pen and ink or crayons. Years of artistic expression made it clear that my life would be centered upon my passion for art.
